Maja Medić was born in 1979, in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Film and TV Camera Department) in Belgrade and completed post-graduate studies in Art, Media and Design, Transmedia, LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, Belgium.
She has fourteen independent photography exhibitions and several photography awards. She participated in numerous collective exhibitions in the country and abroad, and as an associate of the Cultural Center of Belgrade, she organized numerous photographic exhibitions on the topic of domestic film history (40 years of the series Grlom u jagode, Milena Dravić, Nebojša Glogovac, 50 years of the film The Battle of Neretva, 40 years of the film Majstori Majstori, Cinematographers in Serbian Feature Film). She works as a photographer on a film set and edits film monographs (National Class: Feature Films of Goran Marković, 70 Years of the Yugoslav Film Archive, Cinematographers in Serbian Feature Film,Nebojša Djukelić...). Currently, she directing his first feature-length documentary film I want you to know and producing a documentary film about Goran Marković.
