Sir Richard Eyre (1943) is an English film, theatre, television and opera director. His best known films include Notes on a Scandal (2006, nominated for four Academy Awards), Iris (2001, Academy Award for Jim Broadbent for Best Supporting Actor) and Stage Beauty (2004).
