Vahid Jalilvand (1976) is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, actor, and film editor. His first directed film, Wednesday, May 9 (2015), has received massive admiration from multiple national and international film festivals. He received Fipersci Award fot the Best Film “Horizons” from 72nd Venice International Film Festival. Jalilvand had further success with his next film No Date, No Signature (2017). The film earned Jalilvand and his actor Orizzonti Awards of 74th Venice International Film Festival for best director and best actor.
