At age sixteen, Sasha wants to stage a personal revolution. For her classmate Danny, daring to say “no“ to his overprotective mother is already a major feat of disobedience. Danny and Sasha run away together in protest against the unforgiving rules of adult society where they are not allowed to be true to themselves and their young love is forbidden. Freedom goes to their heads, and what initially feels like a fun idea gradually escalates toward committing a crime. The tale of modern-day Romeo and Juliet transforms to resemble a story of Bonnie and Clyde – two young people angry at the world in which they feel like outcasts.
